Acupuncture, Pilates & Yoga in Hartley Wintney

Osteopathy is a way of detecting, treating and preventing a variety of musculoskeletal problems anywhere in the body, by manipulating, stretching and massaging the muscles and joints.

Osteopaths can advise on rehabilitation exercises and we may advise combining treatments with Pilates, Yoga or Core conditioning classes.

Sports Massage

Treatment Sports Massage

Sports massage is designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that are caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma. The application of sports massage, prior to and after exercise, has been shown to enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury.

Pilates is a system of physical and mental conditioning that can enhance your physical strength, flexibility and coordination as well as reduce stress, improve mental focus, and foster an improved sense of well-being.

All ages and fitness levels can benefit from regular Pilates. We provide one-to-one individually tailored and small group mat-based classes.

Yoga is an ancient art based on a harmonising system of development for the body, mind, and spirit. Yoga makes the body strong and flexible, it improves the functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive systems. Yoga brings about better posture and clarity of mind.

Treatments Acupuncture

Western Medical Acupuncture is an adaptation of Chinese Acupuncture. It acts by stimulating the nervous system and is mainly used to treat joint and muscle problems, including trigger point pain. It can be effective for post-operative pain, relaxation, sleeping problems and numerous other conditions.

Foot Care

Foot Health Practitioners attend to all of the common conditions that affect the feet, from routine care of nails, treatment of verrucae, corns, callus, right through to functional problems of the leg and foot.

Foot Health Practitioners deliver foot care wherever it is needed. They are trained to recognise foot and leg conditions, treat appropriately and refer when necessary. Many people need simple footcare to maintain mobility and quality of life. Being overweight or diabetic increases the need, and both of these conditions are rapidly increasing in prevalence in the population.
